There is a way to fund higher education for all Americans in one step.
Step 1: Have Bill Gates donate 10% of his current net worth of $90 Billion to US citizens to use on Udemy.
That’s $9 Billion for education. They have thousands of courses for as little as $10. That’s 900 million courses for Americans to take for free!
Let’s say we have 350 million people who want to take classes. That’s almost 3 courses each. It’s close enough we could just ask Bill for a little extra cash.
Then everyone in the US could learn web development, get an MBA and take a class on personal development.
With that, everyone in the US would have more useful skills than if they spent four years getting an overrated general “education” from an overpriced university.
