How to Know if Your Partner is Micro-Cheating
Micro-cheating is a thing now. Welcome to 2017. Although the term apparently started in 2016.
I guess it’s like micro-aggressions?
Based on these two absurd, click-bait posts by the same woman, I can only assume that anything beyond merely breathing normally and appropriately blinking with both eyes at the same time while away from your partner is cheating now.
So, if you want to know if your partner is micro-cheating right now: the answer is yes.
Like right this very second. The likelihood they are outside the house and looking at people around them is pretty high.
Since your partner is micro-cheating, you have only two options.
Option one:
Get that s*** on lockdown stat! Like it’s time to get one of those leashes for children, but put it on your significant other. But not for some kinky sexy-time. That leash needs to be on him/her in public.
You should probably never let them go anywhere without you. And if they look at a person of the sex they are attracted to – reprimand them immediately. Some people will call you crazy, but don’t mind them. They just wish they had as much control over their SO as you do.
Option two:
Stop. Just stop with the micro everything. Define cheating like a sane person. Stop looking for ways to be mad or offended at every-damn-thing. Stop trying to be traumatized by events and/or people. You do not have to be a victim. It’s not worth it.
Live your life. Be happy. Find a partner that makes you happy. Make your partner happy by not being like the person in option one.
Don’t be paranoid and psychotic. You do not own anyone. Let people live their lives and you live your life. If you don’t like what your partner is doing, talk with them about it. Maybe you aren’t a good match. If that’s true, leave the relationship. Life is too short to stay in bad relationships.
What has the world come to? I’m still not sure. But what I definitely don’t have time to worry about is if my partner is micro-cheating by saying “hello” while smiling at someone who’s attractive.
If that’s what you’re worrying about, you need a hobby. Desperately. Learn a new skill on Udemy for $15.
If you focus on the one thing you can control, which is yourself, you’ll be a lot happier.
